In "Any Given Sundae", Lily tries her first ice cream and enjoys it despite some setbacks. In "Schooled!", Lily starts saying more words while referring to herself in the third person, starts wearing clothes, and was reluctant to start preschool at Baby Bunker Preschool by pretending to forget how she was potty-trained until she saw Leni's posts of what they did there. The character got his name from E Lincoln Avenue in Royal Oak, where the show's creator Chris Savino grew up. Lincoln has a passion for comic books, in particular his favorite superhero Ace Savvy which has a playing card theme.

Along with Lana and Lily, she has the best younger sister relationship with Lincoln. At school, Lucy is a part of the Morticians' Club with similar students. Lucy has a bust of the vampire Edwin, who is from her favorite book and TV series The Vampires of Melancholia. While she pledges to be with Edwin in the afterlife, her crush is Rusty Spokes' younger brother Rocky. Lucy is a 3rd grader at Royal Woods Elementary School for the first four seasons and attends school with her siblings Lincoln, Lana, Lola, and Lisa. But, as of "Schooled!", Lucy is a 4th grader and attends school with her younger sisters Lana, Lola, and Lisa.

Leni is named after the character Lennie Small, a mentally-challenged but compassionate and physically strong and curious companion of George Milton in John Steinbeck's novella Of Mice and Men. Leni and her older sister Lori are roommates, but they are not anymore as Lori attends Fairway University as of "Schooled!". Leni wears a seafoam green dress, red hoop earrings, white slip-on sandals with seafoam green bows, and white sunglasses that she is almost seen wearing on top of her head. Along with Luna, she has the best relationship with Lincoln of his older sisters. Leni was promoted a job at Reininger's Department Store at the Royal Woods Mall folding clothes.
Sharon makes her first appearance in "'Twas the Fight Before Christmas" where she was shown to be close with Rita. When her husband Lance got enraged when he saw his brother Lynn, Sharon taught him a method to stay calm which he eventually took into heart later in the episode. This is a list of the English voice actors who have voiced characters in The Loud House franchise. The actors are listed alphabetically by last name, and their characters are listed by the order of appearance, plus whether they're recurring or one-off.
She has a habit of losing her diaper causing her fellow siblings to put her diaper back on. Lincoln, the siblings, and the parents always change Lily's diaper in Lisa and Lily's room. The only phrase Lily generally says aside from gibberish is "poo-poo", generally coupled with her diaper flying across the screen or needing a diaper change. Lily shares a room with her older sister Lisa and sometimes her gibberish can be translated by some of her siblings. Around the end of "Washed Up", Lily is the only one who sees Lake Eddy's residential cryptid Plessy which Lincoln and Lucy were wanting to find.

Shiloh Loud (voiced by Bahia Watson) is the youngest child of Lance and Sharon and the kids' paternal cousin. Shiloh is known to do cannonballs into any physical object and can lift objects much larger and heavier than he is. The third animated film in the franchise, was first unveiled on April 26, 2024 on Nickelodeon’s Instagram page.[9] It is scheduled to release on Paramount+. The Loud House is currently the fourth-longest running Nicktoon in terms of episode count, behind The Fairly OddParents, the original Rugrats, and SpongeBob SquarePants. The pilot episode was originally produced as part of Nickelodeon's 2013 Animated Shorts Program, and was later re-released with a new title, "Bathroom Break!!", on Nick.com in 2016. The show's highest-rated episode, with 2.28 million viewers upon its premiere, is "Two Boys and a Baby." This was the first episode to air after it was announced that Howard and Harold McBride would be debuting on the program.
A Loud House Christmas, The Really Loud House
The first episode of The Loud House shown in prime time, "11 Louds a Leapin'," was the seventh most-viewed telecast across all U.S. households on Friday, November 25, 2016. Nickelodeon and its YouTube channel have done a series of podcasts called Listen Out Loud, where each member of the Loud family does a podcast revolving around their topics. It's wasn't immediately clear if the supposedly offending Nickelodeon episodes ever aired in Kenya. Stanley Chang (voiced by Ken Jeong) is the Chinese father of Sid and Adelaide. He works as a subway conductor in Great Lakes City's subway system called the GLART (short for Great Lakes Area Rapid Transit). Rosa Casagrande (voiced by Sonia Manzano)[38] is Ronnie Anne and Bobby's grandmother, Maria and Carlos' mother, and Lupe and Lazaro's daughter.
Royal Woods Elementary School
From the fifth season on, Lily is seen wearing a white shirt, lavender shorts, and white booties. Lily is babysat by Lincoln on several occasions, with whom she has the best younger sister relationship along with Lucy and Lana. She has a habit of losing her diaper, which her older siblings put back on. Her siblings and her parents always change Lily's diaper in her and Lisa's room. Prior to season five, the only phrase aside from gibberish Lily says is "poo-poo", usually as her diaper flies across the screen or she needs a diaper change.
Early in development, the Loud family was originally going to be a family of rabbits, and instead of 11 children, there were going to be 26, a reference to the fact that rabbits can reproduce so quickly. An employee at Nickelodeon suggested to Savino that it would be best if the characters were humans. This abandoned concept was eventually explored in the Season 3 episode, "White Hare." Chris Savino based The Loud House on his own experiences growing up in a large family.
The series takes place in a fictional town called Royal Woods, which is located somewhere in Michigan. The series largely revolves around Lincoln's point of view in dealing with his 10 other sisters. New characters have been introduced over time as the show has run its course which include; Lincoln's best friend Clyde, Lincoln's classmates, faculty at Lincoln's school, Lincoln's extended family, neighbors, and the Casagrande family among others in Royal Woods.
